Bored with wall tiles and floor tiles design at your bathroom ? Do consider just cement plastering finishes or partial design with cement plaster finish with combination.
Cement Plaster Finish Bathroom Wall
The monochrome grey is matte and rustic will enhance any Industrial theme design for your bathroom.
The raw finish without any coating like epoxy paint is natural and calm feeling environment. The shortfall is, you may need more taking care of the finishes and prevent any dirt penetration to the cement and hard to remove. Try to design it only at dry bathroom area. If can’t be avoided, you may consider to apply dust sealer coating, a transparent paint to the surface from time to time to protect it from dirt or oil stain.
Or, you may consider to apply clear epoxy paint on wet area/ shower area, where it is exposed to water and activities. By applying a more chemical resistance coating/ paint , it will easy in maintenance, easy to wash or clean the wall or floor. The shortfall is,the colour of cement look will be turn darker as below picture.
This is recommended cement plaster apply to wall instead of floor at dry area, due to easy maintenance.
Cement Plaster at Counter Top Basin
Think to combination of your basin wall with marble counter top basin, wooden counter top basin with cement plaster wall and mirror. Just allow some part of wall, back splash or back wall with combination of mirror and matte cement plaster finish.
Cement plaster finish is just add as feature wall for your bathroom.
