Bundwall and containment storage area is required for the spillage of diesel tank.
Under SCDF Regulations ( fssd fire code )all Diesel tank installations are required to be inspected, and properly constructed a bund wall with reinforced slab by licensed builder prior inspected by PE and submitted to Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) before a Petroleum Storage Licence can be granted.
The exemption quantity for diesel storage at construction site that does not require a storage licence is not more than 1,500 litres. This is on condition that only diesel and no other petroleum/flammable materials are being stored. For more updated detail of the new requirement, can be referred to the SCDF website.
For the diesel tank bund wall containment without discharge pipe to the grease trap, enclose shelter maybe required to minimize the rain water collection . The contaminated water is not allowed direct discharge to surface drain.

Diesel pumping dispenser installation is required to installed within safe distance from the storage tank. Containment wall is required to prevent spillage to the ground.
