The thickness epoxy floor coating on the concrete floor is normally ranging from 1 mm thk to 5 mm thk subject to the type of application. To remove the paint on the floor by chemical may not be effective as there may have different putty protection or wearing coarse  on it. The typical example of epoxy floor coating on automobile workshop or shopping mall car park.

The stubborn glue stain left over after removal of carpet or vinyl tile are the other common problem. If your sub base on the floor is concrete floor, the stubborn stain can be used grinding off method to remove. If it is a raised floor sub base, using chemical to remove the stickiness or repainting would be better option.

How to remove the epoxy coating  ?

1. Remove all the obstruction and ensure the floor is free of nail, bolts etc.
2.  Shift or protect the equipment, material etc to prevent the dust.
3. Ensure nearest power socket is available and no ponding water.
4. Provide necessary dust mask when using of the floor grinding machine.
5. One or more time of grinding from direction to direction to ensure full coverage.
